Between 1966 and 1971, Johnny Rivers issued an extraordinary string of albums, starting with Changes and ending with Home Grown. Scroll down and you will read my thoughts and those great releases. To my mind, 1974’s Road fits into that sequence, even though there were a few intervening albums that were of a different mindset and sense. This album escaped me at the time and I only recently received this release from whiteray whom all thanks must go to.
