This concert is quite rightly regarded as one of the very best in Led Zeppelin's Live career. There have been countless releases on CD by numerous labels, and it is unlikely this release will be the last. what one can say about this release however is first and foremost it is in really excellent mono sound (with a little bit of the stereo audience recording to make it more complete). The main source is a first generation mono audience recording (the source of the classic Blimp/Trade Mark of Quality original vinyl release Live On Blueberry Hill, the same source as used by Neutral Zone in their pioneering 2 CD release way back in 1989, also called Live On Blueberry Hill. The sound is wonderful, and no EQ was applied to the tape, so an incredible achievement by the intrepid taper on that early September evening in 1970 at the Forum in Inglewood, a suburb of Los Angeles. The mono sound on this new release is very well balanced and mixed between vocals and instruments, it really is a joy to hear this concert in the very best possible sound.
